Held on the afternoon of Saturday 26th May, following on from the opening of the MG Museum in the County Hall, the Abingdon Works Forum was a truly momentous ocasion. It was a special event commemorating 25th anniversary of AWC with many of the works employees there to tell you the nitty gritty about perhaps the most famous sports car factory ever. Chaired by MG Car Club President Bill Wallis, those present included well known names such as Don HayterBasil Wales and Brian Moylan, as well as lessr known employees from union leader Eric Brind to fire chief Jim Simpson.
Due to technical difficulties the sound levels are very low during some sections of this DVD. There is also some backgound noise from a Red Arrows display overhead at the time.
