Sunday 22nd April - St. George’s Day Run. Starting from Abingdon, the St. George's Run coincides with the FBHVC's "Drive it Day". Sunday 27th May - Steamy Day Out. A day at the Mid Hants Railway, more commonly known as the Watercress Line, which runs from Alresford to Alton in Hampshire. Entry includes unlimited train travel on the heritage railway - pre-booking is essential (the deadline is 2 weeks before the event), free entry if not going on the trains. Sat 23rd - Sun 24th June - Abingdon Works Centre at MGLive! at Silverstone. Come and see the Abingdon Works Centre in the main MG Car Club pavilion and put some faces to the names! Check the MGLive! website for the latest information.

Sunday 29th July - Summer Day Out. The AWC's traditional day in the sun, with road runs starting in Abingdon and Arborfield (TBA). Contact Chris Callaghan on 01865 820312.

Sunday 12th August - AWC's Thames Bridges Run. A run starting at Abingdon and taking in as many River Thames bridges downstream of the town as we can fit in! Contact Simon Pedrazzini: simon.pedrazzini@tiscali.co.uk.

Sunday 30th September- Chairman’s Event. A road run of the AWC Chairman’s choice, starting from Abingdon, and always finishing at an interesting and imaginative venue! Contact Richard Martin on 01235 529331.

Wednesday 26th December - the 19th Boxing Day Run. Blow away the cobwebs with the annual Boxing Day Run starting from Abingdon Market Square, arrive 9.30-10.00am. £5 per car (TBA), no need to pre-book for the run, 50 car limit. Contact Chris Callaghan on 01865 820312.

Sunday 15th April - MGB50 Birthday Road Run. Entrants will start from one of four venues, before joining up at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon to enjoy the exhibits and facilities of this wonderful museum, to admire the assembled line-up of MGBs and to talk with fellow enthusiasts.
