If this is your first visit to our website, we hope you'll find something of interest, if you're a regular, welcome back! However, whether you're a regular or a first-timer, we're interested in your views so please let us know what you think as we're always looking for ways in which we can improve. You'll find a list of the Committee here, as well as the Natters within the AWC region, and our calendar of events for the year. You can even order AWC regalia from our website!
While many MG owners know the history of the MG Car Company to some degree, the history of our Centre is less well known, so we have created our own History of the Abingdon Works Centre. The story details its beginnings as the Auto Section of MG's Social Club, to a rise in status as The MG Works Auto Club, finally becoming a Centre of the MG Car Club following the closure of the Abingdon factory. Essential reading!
The car's the star so why not show it to the world? Every month, we feature a different MG from the Abingdon Works Centre in Car of the Month, ranging from the oldest cars from the early days of the company to modern MGs which are fast becoming classics in their own right. We also have a Members' Cars section in our Photo Gallery (links open in a new window). So why not send us photos and details about your car? We'd love to show your pride and joy to the world!
Upgrading to a newer, or older, MG and need to sell yours?
Whether you're looking to sell your present car, or on the look-out for another one, our Cars For Sale / Wanted section is the place for adverts for MGs of all ages and conditions. As you'll see, we've had a good success rate, with many MGs going to new homes. This is a free service we're providing for all MGCC members, although we're happy to advertise cars for non-members for a small one-off fee of £25.
